چکیده
Abstract We report a “nano-on-micro” approach for growth of cactus-like nanostructures zinc oxide (ZnO) gas sensing application. use electrospun polymeric fibers doped with catalyst nanoparticles as the template and employ vapor-liquid-solid (VLS) method to ZnO nanostructures. Controlling processing variables in VLS process yields needle-like around fibers, which resembles needles cactus. The nano-cactus features wurtzite like crystal structure. investigate capabilities nano-cactus. show high sensitivity selectivity ethanol gas. enables single step deposition nanomaterials between electrodes during synthesis, eliminates post-synthesis steps, thus demonstrates better compatibility towards device integration metal

Microfluidics-Nano-Integration for Synthesis and Sensing
The recent progress and achievements in the development of preparation of nano and microparticles in a microfluidic environment is reviewed. Microfluidics exploit fluid mechanics to create particles with a narrow range of sizes and offers a finely controllable route to tune the shape and composition of nanomaterials. The advantages of both continuous flowand droplet-based synthesis of polymers ...
